This lecture provides clinicians with a set of practical, universal protocols for managing complex prosthetic and implant challenges in daily practice. Participants will learn a rapid and reliable method for identifying unknown implant platforms, enabling predictable prosthetic rehabilitation even in cases with missing clinical documentation. A universal technique for the safe removal of fractured screws—without damaging the implant’s internal threads—will also be presented.
The session further explores strategies for the functional recovery of damaged prostheses and worn attachments, as well as solutions for managing extreme implant divergence in both fixed and removable restorations through the OT Equator system. Finally, an emergency protocol for root-supported overdentures—summarized in the philosophy “Don’t lose it, use it!”—will equip clinicians with immediate, minimally invasive treatment options.

Dr Gabriele Vaccaro
After graduating in Dentistry from the University of Palermo in 2003 with full marks, he continued his professional development through several specialized master programs in reconstructive and aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, implant prosthetics, and advanced implantology, studying with renowned clinicians such as Dr. Berutti, Dr. Mangani, Dr. Palmeri, and Dr. Amato. In 2007, he completed a post-graduate Master in Advanced Implantology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
From 2005 to 2009, he served as Director of a dental clinic in Palermo, before moving to Bologna, where he led the OT Dental Clinic from 2009 to 2019. Between 2011 and 2019, he also worked as an international speaker, presenting at numerous conferences and events across Europe, North America, and Asia.
He is a Rhein83 International Certified Speaker, delivering courses and lectures on innovative solutions in prosthetic and implant-supported dentistry.
