OT Vertical System

OT Vertical is a cylindrical attachment that works by friction, suitable for partial dentures and bar connections. The castable plastic pin is used as a parallelometer key and, after casting, as a centering pin to connect and balance the prosthesis during the insertion phase, especially when there are no counter-milling operations. The male metal and female nylon components are available with a length of 5mm, but can be reduced, without changing the functionality up to a length of 3.5mm. The reference of these two lengths facilitates the replacement of the elastic clip (female) by the dentist.

 The vertical and the retentive clips can be lowered in height, in order not to risk inconveniences, it is advisable not to shorten them beyond the indicative sign of 3.5 mm.

Laboratory

Extract the CLIP from the container using
a metal tool

Check to see if the previous CLIP
it was whole or shortened to 3.5 mm

If it is necessary to shorten it, use a cutter
adequate and consume it up to the mark indicated on the back

With the appropriate INSERATOR, apply the new CLIP (whole or shortened)

The attachment and the clip can be mounted inside (5 mm) or shortened (3.5 mm) always limiting the part opposite to the hole

Parallelogram wrench: insert the plug into the hole of the attachment, rotate a few times to obtain the correct seal and be able to slide it out comfortably after fixing the attachment in the wax.

Completed the assembly and the wax modeling insert the ceramic cylinder in the hole of the attachment and melt

Blast the melt, to remove
the ceramics remained in the hole to use
a ball cutter or an acid
adequate

Before applying the model to the casing, cut the tip of the plastic plug from the rest of the stem from the parallelometer key

Insert the sectioned plastic plug
in the hole of the attack and pour the material
to duplicate (silicone or jelly)

In the model reproduced in cladding,
the plastic (calcinable) plug, can
be removed or remain inserted in the
coating

Skeleton modeled,
proceed to the merger

Skeleton melted and sanded

Finished skeleton, insertion of the clip
retentive using the appropriate inserter

Skeletonized on the model.
