OT STRATEGY are precision attachments.

It is important that the spheres are mounted in parallel. This will determine the greatest extent of correct function of the unit. OT STRATEGY attachments are the only attachments of this type to have a (patented) parallel support under the sphere that automatically aligns the retentive caps, an important factor for the insertion of the prosthesis. It will determine the duration of the caps and prevent the risk of wear to the spheres. The reduced dimensions of these attachments permit them to be applied in very small areas making them perfect for removable prostheses, however they must always be accompanied by adequate milling. In cases where milling is not preformed, it is advisable to use the optional STEADY accessory.

Duplication technique using castable housing

Insert the Strategy male into the mandrel and place in position with base of attachment in contact with the stone.

Strategy casting is complete with mandatory lingual milling to accept partial bracing arm.

Yellow retentive cap is placed on the sphere and model is ready for duplication.

Model is duplicated and the shape of the cap is reproduced.

The entire cap must be covered with a thin layer of wax during the frame wax-up procedure.

Insert the cap into the finished cast partial with Strategy Insertion Tool.

Frame is complete placed on model.


Finished prosthesis with yellow cap, however, higher levels of retention are available.

Welding technique using pre-fabricated stainless steel housing

Crown and OT Strategy attachment cast. Positioning ring and housing.

Container positioner on the coupling.

S/steel container in position on the attachment.

Wax-up on the duplicated model.

First Option: Stainless Steel Housing welded to the frame.

Second Option: Stainless Steel Housing bonded to frame with anaerobic selfcuring resin.

Insertion of the cap from the mesial.

Once the casting is complete, proceed to use the cap and the prefabricated STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING. The housing can bonded or laser welded to the frame. In addition, it can also be used for direct chairside procedures.
